Founded in 1991 by doctors Dan and Sally Nowland, Springtown Veterinary Hospital is a state-of-the-art animal hospital serving the Central Texas communities of San Marcos, Kyle, Buda, Wimberley, and New Braunfels.
The Nowlands met while in veterinary school at Texas A&M University and soon after began practicing at separate veterinary hospitals. Long desiring the opportunity to create their own practice, they decided to move to San Marcos and purchase Springtown Veterinary Hospital.
The Nowlands have built a facility that reflects the best that modern veterinary medicine has to offer. Their equipment and services are continually evaluated and updated to remain at the cutting edge of veterinary care. They also work on building and maintaining a skilled, experienced, and friendly staff.
As testament to their success, Springtown Veterinary Hospital has been named a Practice of Excellence from Veterinary Economics magazine and is a fully accredited hospital by the American Animal Hospital Association.
