Our client relations representative Ann greets our clients as they walk through the door and also helps schedule appointments, refill medications, and communicate with doctors. She joined Springtown Veterinary Hospital in December 2012 but worked previously as a kennel technician at Taurus Dog Training. Ann's background in dog behavior, socialization, and basic training are valuable skills that make her a wonderful addition to our hospital staff. "I love helping clients find answers to questions about their pets, and I have learned so much from the veterinarians by doing so," she says.
Ann earned her Bachelor's Degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where she completed a double major in Music and French and a minor in Italian.
In her spare time, Ann enjoys collecting recipes, cooking, baking, and eating. She also enjoys studying improvisational comedy and has performed in Austin, Los Angeles, and New York. When at home, she makes time for Pilot, her beautiful Newfoundland.
Katie joined our team in September 2016. She studied Nutrition at Blinn college for two years and plans to continue her education at Texas State University.

surrounded by dogs and loved every minute of it!"

"I love working at Springtown because I get to fulfill my life passion of working with animals and I get to help make a difference every day. I also love having coworkers that are just as passionate about the care of animals as I am. My coworkers inspire me every day with their vast knowledge of pets and their desire to help in any way possible."
In her free time, Kara enjoys hiking, swimming in the river, and taking photos. She also loves hanging out with her dog, Scout, who just so happens to also love hiking, swimming in the river, and getting his picture taken.
